"Creature Form Outer Space" - Sonny Day

I've seen this sign above a shop and this one is very very special. It's a mix between "Alien" and the thing from the "Naked Lunch".

"Old Rub Alcohol Blues" - Dock Boggs

This sign is above a perfume shop. It seems to be an old colonial sign (full of history) and the contrast between it and the perfume shop seemed interesting to me.

"And The Same" - Fugazi

"Swan's Splashdown" - Perrey & Kingsley

This sign is located in the corner of the Saint-Denis street & Cygne (= Swan) street in the 1st arrondissement. It's written : "Au Beau Cygne" (= Beautifull Swan's). I think it was the name of a shop wich doesn't exist nowadays. The mosaic is a little bit damaged but it doesn't seem to bother the pigeons who choose to nidificate behind.

"Crazy Legs" - (Hed)Pe

Considering the weather (but it may change), perhaps you'd like to buy a pair of tight in this shop.

"Big Bird" - The Jam

I've found this bird above a clothes shop, no relation between the bird and the shop. It might be there only for the decoration.

"Rainbow Store" - New York Dolls

I like the contrast between the colors of the shops and the buildings ; it's located on the banks of the Seine.

"Devil's Haircut" - Beck

Like this hairdresser (for women only !), a lot of shops wich close their doors start a second career as a bill-board ...
I like the 60's-70's (I'd say 70's but I'm not sure) lettering of the sign-board.

"Hot In Here" - Boss Hoss

It's warm today (28°c) so : sunglasses, hats, caps, etc ...

"Formed A Band" - Art Brut

If you want to buy a guitar (or an other instrument) in Paris, you have to go in Pigalle (9th arrondissement), in Douai street and all the little streets around. There is a lot of shops with second-hand instruments or new ones. There is (almost) everything you want from the ukulele to the oud, the drum kit ; all you need to form your band !
