Everyday, a photo of Paris and a song ...
A richshaw in Paris. How quaint! :)BTW, the elephants on the glass doors in the picture makes me think it is an Indian restaurant, not a Chinese one. In fact, when I click on it, I also see the photo of two men standing in front of Ganesh (the god with an elephant head), and there are no Chinese signs or decorations. Also, it says "Hero" on the rickshaw. "Hero" is a brand of bicyles in India, and now they have motorcycles called "Hero Honda" in collaboration with Honda of Japan. The rickshaw looks like some rickshaws in India. Even the cycle rickshaws have different looks (height, width, seats) depending no which part of India they are in.Cycle rickshaws are disappearing from India as autorickshaws take their place. But it is interesting to see that cycle rickshaws survive in some Western countries. I saw a show on TV where they showed yellow-colored cycle rickshaw (that looked quite modern) being "driven"by Americans offering rides to tourists through New York City!!!
